All of the Young Adult books are clean and appropriate for Junior High age and up. One of my goals in writing for young people is to have adventurous novels with strong characters that teach moral lessons without being didactic.

GROWING UP AT THE RENAISSANCE FAIRE

This began as a NaNoWriMo story way back in 2011 or so. It lived in my brain (and computer) for years as I kept working on other projects. I would edit the story, expand the story, revise chunks of the story for years. I finally thought, "Even if no one else likes it, I want to publish it." ​ So, here it is!

Growing up at the Renaissance Faire has always been customary for Corin. Riding horses, watching jousts, and experiencing history firsthand has been his parents’ prescription for an amazing upbringing. He suddenly realizes at twelve years old that his life is anything but normal. Gawain, his honorary older brother, steps in to help him learn more about "Outside", as they refer to life outside the Faire.

Corin spends the next four years learning about Outsiders while keeping up with his various duties at the Faire.
